Humber’s Landis Doyle received her 2009 Canadian Colleges Athletic Association All Canadian Award at the National Championship Banquet which was held in North Bay on Wednesday night. Doyle, the OCAA nominee for the CCAA Player of the Year Award, fell just short in the voting but was among the top five players in the land. Her season included leading the Hawks to a second consecutive provincial title, and leading Humber in every statistical category. Landis is the first Hawk player since the 2001/02 season to be selected as an All Canadian, when Jennifer Edgar was chosen. The Hawks have won four provincial gold medals during that span.
